It’s a real shame there’s no Medicare for pets, but at Hawthorn vet, we’ll always try to keep costs as manageable as possible. We do encourage you look into pet insurance to help manage expenses if your pet becomes ill or requires surgery. Just like health insurance for humans, there’s myriad policies and providers out there, so do some research to find the one that works best for your pet. Even without insurance though, you can rest assured that we will always discuss every aspect of required procedures with you – including the costs – so there are no nasty surprises.
